12. "2nd Ebola Case in U.S. Strokes Fears of Health Care Workers"

An outbreak of the Ebola virus has occurred in West Africa and it has scared many people around the world. The fear of the Ebola virus spreading to other countries seems to be a reality now. Just last week, a nurse from Dallas became the first person to contact Ebola within the United States. This news stoked fears of health care workers across the country, many of whom have been anxious about having to handle Ebola cases. These past few days, a second Ebola case in Dallas has been confirmed. With this, federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has urged health officials to look more closely at the protective gears that nurses, doctors, and hospital assistants use when treating Ebola patients. Furthermore, they have considered different ways of handling Ebola patients such as transferring them to hospitals with special containment units. Such processes have become considered as the spread of the Ebola virus might be simply due to the misuse of protective gears.
