3.Can My Keyboard Spread Ebola?

Kent Brantly, is a doctor who has been infected by the Ebola disease while working at a hospital in Liberia. The doctor has flown to Atlanta's Emory University (which is in the United States). As he was forced to go to the university by an ambulance, he exited the ambulance. The news of an person affected by Ebola has spread out quickly in the United States. Ever since that day, the Americans were concerned that they might also be infected. The author tells us that the Ebola disease can not be spread by air, food, and water. She tells us that Ebola disease can only be spread by bodily fluids. The author talks about a rumor about the possible chance of being affected by touching your keyboards. The author disagrees and she again tells us not to worry and that Ebola can only be infected by bodily fluids.
The author uses some sort of an angry way to communicate. It seems like the author is frustrated with the Americans who are paranoid about possibly dying by Ebola. The author, by using this way to communicate, was very effective in convincing me that Ebola can not be spread by keyboards. The author's goal was to tell us this message, that we should not worry about Ebola because it is very unlikely that America will be infested with Ebola infected people. She has clearly achieved her goal by using an angry and straightforward voice.
