4. Things you didn't know about chocolate chip cookies

The author of this article Alessandra Bulow recently went to the Nestlé’s Toll House Cookies in Solon, Ohio, and not only ate a lot of chocolate but found out interesting facts about the chocolate chip cookie. The following are 5 things you probably dint know about chocolate chip cookie. One, the CCK was an accident, the recipe was created when Ruth Wakefield threw broken piece of chocolate into a cookie recipe, thinking they would melt and blend. Two, the original name for the CCK was "Butterdrop Do Cookies." later renamed by a Boston newspaper as Chocolate Crunch Cookie. Three, Nestle bought the recipe from Ruth paying her with a lifetime supply of chocolate, also giving rise to the famous tear drop chocolate chip.  Five, the chocolate chip cookie is the most preferred cookie among Americans, duh.

Alessandra begins her article with a straightforward yet cheerful tone accounting for her recent visit to the Nestlé’s Toll House Cookies. Then she goes on to tell the readers about her new discovery. The little knows fact about the famous chocolate chip cookie. All the while keeping a wow/look what I found tone. Needless to say the purpose of the article is to satisfy some hidden curiosity inside the readers and maybe create a craving for a hot and steamy chocolate chip cookie.
