The article is about a young girl who was involved in an
abusive relationship. Even after she shared her relationship problems with
those around her, her depression wasn’t “cured” because nobody really cared. She tells her youth group about how she has
been abused in her relationship; however the only response her youth group was “at
least he didn’t take your virginity.” Then she goes on explaining how people these
days aren’t as interested in caring for those who have been abused
physically/verbally then those who has been sexually.
