The Lord’s Supper is something that is practiced weekly or monthly depending on the church that you attend. In this article, the author struggles to understand the meaning, and the reason of doing the Lord’s Supper weekly or monthly. The author assumed and thought that by practicing this often, it might lose its meaning and become some kind of “routine.” But as he grows up, he realizes that this event if practiced so often to remind us every day of what Jesus had done for us.  This meal is for us to remind ourselves that Jesus died for our sins, he has risen, and that he will come again. The author also explains how this meal is practiced differently in different places and religions.  Also, the author tells that it doesn’t matter where you practice the Lord’s Supper, or when you do it. What really matters is the meaning, and your thinking, respect about this, If you are doing it by heart or not.

The author in this article uses mostly informal language to engage with the readers. The article is a bit long, but he separated the article into sections so the reader wouldn’t get bored. Also he gives a background to what he is going to talk about and uses personal examples and stories. He also put different examples of how the Lord’s Supper is practiced in different places to inform more about his topic.
